Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it's all over but the shouting you'll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You'll need them throughout your life. God's Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other's spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out." Ephesians 6:13 - 18
I think these verses are not only for you, but for anyone reading this blog. You have a responsibility to not fight alone. Stand on God's Word and get as many weapons in your arsenol as possible - doctor's opinions, wise counsel, seek God, gather much information! We too have a responsibility to you to pray for you and be present now for you and lift you up when you are having trouble standing on your own. And when the fight is all over, stand tall you will! I love you Sarah! I had one psychologist tell me that I needed to take ONE HOUR DAILY to do something for just me all by myself. Shopping for groceries does not count. She said, go outside and watch the clouds, work out, listen to my favorite CD, etc... I just laughed. Really? One hour? All at once? EVERY DAY? Right! Ha!

This is a VERY tough time for you. There's so much to process and it's absolutely expected that you would be stressed to the max. You are wise to seek help from the doctor, your mom and us through posting. You are praying, we are praying. It's okay to cry and release and it's right on to keep on keeping on, one day at a time. It's okay to give yourself a break and "veg" with the kids here and there to get through the day. They are fed, you are together and you are more calm than you'd be if you'd tried to fix a "real" dinner. It's totally worth it. I love you and am praying for you. PLEASE call anytime, day or night.Irenehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01627475496963927680noreply@blogger.com
